Want to discover highlining or improve your skills?
BeSlack organises introductory highline sessions led by passionate volunteers.
The main goal is to practise, discover highlining and progress in a friendly and safe environment. Setting up the lines and the technical aspects of rigging are not part of these introductory sessions.
First time on a highline? That’s exactly what these sessions are for!
You can stay overnight and pitch your tent on site, organise carpooling with other participants and share meals together. At the beginning of the week, we will create a WhatsApp group to make organising easier and share all the practical information.
When?
Outdoor – Modave (Modavie)
* 22/08 and 23/08
These are two independent introduction days, so you can register for either one.
All dates are also available in our calendar and registration form.
For outdoor sessions, the activity may be postponed or cancelled in case of strong winds or bad weather.
What skills are required?
No previous highline experience is required.
However, to make the most of the session, we ask that you have some basic slackline skills:
* be able to walk approximately 20 m on a slackline;
* be able to stand up from a seated position on the slackline.
For everything else, we’ll be there to help you!
Languages: the sessions are led in French and English. Everyone is welcome, whatever language you speak!
What equipment is required?
A climbing harness.
Price
* €10/day for BeSlack members. (Become a member)
* €25/day for non-members.
Insurance :
BeSlack members are covered by their CAB/KBF insurance for highline activities.
For non-members, we provide CAB/KBF day insurance, which is included in the price of the session.
